Avengers ascend box office chart

Avengers: Endgame has continued its lightning ascent of the UK and Ireland all-time box office chart, leapfrogging The Full Monty and Jurassic Park after just three weeks on release. The latest instalment in the Marvel franchise has so far taken £80.4 million, enough to place it just outside the top ten highest grossing films since records began.

Winning numbers in last night’s Lotto draw were 08, 11, 18, 39, 44 and 50, with bonus ball 23.
