Classic revived: Landmark Scottish play back on tour
Catherine King, Stephen Bangs, Calum Macdonald and Christina Gordon in the National Theatre of Scotland’ s revival of The Cheviot, The Stag, and the Black, Black Oil. The play by John Mcgrath was first staged by the 7:84 company in the 1970s and became a cornerstone of contemporary Scottish theatre. The new production will tour the Highlands and Islands, Stirling, Dundee, Aberdeen, Perth and Newcastle.
