Crafty creations: Finalists in new prize contest let their wares shine at The Lighthouse

Artist Tom Graysrone studies Laura Youngson Coll’s Haeckel to Aplidium (2014-17) in the touring Woman’s Hour Craft Prize exhibition at The Lighthouse in Glasgow until 27 May.

It features work by the 12 finalists in the inaugural contest, launched to find the UK’S most innovative and exciting craftsperson or designer-maker. Exhibits also include handwoven willow structures and futuristic glass figures.
