to leave the EU now that we understand what it entails. When the deal is finalised, let’s put it to the people to decide.

Róisín Dubh

Rubbish, the duping only happened after the vote. The people voted Leave and not one single voter thought we would still be in three years down the line. When the vote was taken people believed voting Leave meant leaving, not this hotch potch of a deal.

Jim Thomas

Why is he standing as a Labour Party candidate if he isn’t standing on the Labour Party’s manifesto?

Not a Lemming

What a contradiction! 1) Remaining in the EU is nonnegotiable; 2) We shall offer a referendum on remaining in the EU. Now, a referendum is basically a selection between the two options, or a negotiation – offers and counter offers are made and we vote accordingly. I think our prospective MEP has misunderstood the purpose of a referendum (as have others in Scotland). It’s not to confirm what YOU want to do, it’s to ask the electorate what THEY want to do.

Spooked

Labour appear to have completely forgotten their General Election manifesto.

Free Haircut

Let’s face it. Who wouldn’t want a cosy job with high pay, perks, travel expenses and allowances like these people get. It is the voters’ job to stop this gravy train to nowhere.

Grigalach

David Martin certainly can’t get enough of it! Even at this late date he is hanging on.

Sad Tom Petty is Dead Another powder puff performance by Ruth Davidson. She doesn’t seem interested and is going through the motions, even Leonard looked impressive by comparison. Has she lost her mojo during maternity leave or, more likely, she knows Brexit and the woeful show by her masters at Westminster have killed any chance of her becoming FM.

Optimist SNP fears confirmed as Brexit Party makes huge gains in polls, sending warning to wobbly Sturgeon.

Bea.sutherland

When did a talented politician last find their way into the SNP? I’m only asking because my memory doesn’t go back that far. And I’m no spring chicken!

Reality Demands To Be Heard

“[James] Kelly says:

‘The fact there are so many children growing up in poverty in Nicola Sturgeon’s constituency is a damning indictment of this Government’.” This can’t be said too often or too forcibly – Holyrood isn’t a Government, not by any stretch of the imagination. The delusion and deceit that it is really has to stop.

World wide football fan “The FM asks Mr Kelly to back her call for the full devolution of welfare powers to Holyrood.” Really? Then she’d best be having words with Shirley-anne Somerville. After all, she just passed back responsibility for an entire benefit.

Edmund North Dear oh dear, Andy has sold out. Let’s “not” do this after all.

Handsome Albannach

Congratulations to Andy and his family. Well deserved.

Psychological

Well deserved! Congrats, and all the best for your future career.

Katherine Cameron Well done sir.

Marina Wilson One of the UK’S finest.
