Premier raises output guidance

A significant increase in production from its Catcher area in the North Sea has seen Premier Oil up its guidance for output this year.

The operator said total year-to-date output has increased by 14 per cent compared with last year.

Total production across its fields has averaged 85,100 barrels significantly ahead of expectations, with the Catcher area accounting for 34,400 barrels.
