Cherry ripe

-

Reading your 16 May front page, it is almost laughable to read that Joanna C herrycom plains that she is the victim of a “smear” campaign against her and, even worse, accuses her colleagues of “backstabbing” her!

This from the same Joanna Cherry who ruthlessly, and

without any thought of consequence, attempted to smear a nurse during a leaders’ debate in Scotland just two years ago – a nurse she claimed was the wife of a Tory councillor. This proved to be false. Ms Cherry has chosen to swim with the sharks and it was only a matter of time before she was bitten.

As opposing factions in the SNP gather around either SNP MP Joanna Cherry or Ni cola Sturgeon, will the independence cause do to the SNP what Brexit has done to the Tories and Labour – tear it apart?

Ms Cherry is firmly in the S almond camp and much more of the“just go for it” mind set with regard to indy ref 2– whereas the cautious Ms Sturgeon would rather wait until she’s more confident of victory, and of D owning Street’ s prior agreement.

The SNP was once famous for unity; no longer, it seems.
