Man charged over body found in bin

An Italian national has been charged with preventing the lawful burial of a man whose body was found in a bin.

Scotland Yard said Gerardo Rossi, 52, of Tollington Road, Islington, north London, had been arrested and charged on Thursday after the body of Erik San- Filippo, 23, was discovered in the bin by police.

The Italian national appeared at Highbury Magistrates Court yesterday, and was remanded in custody, having been charged with preventing the lawful and decent burial of a dead body.
