Pack a blanket and hope for sun, it’s picnic season

It’s still over a month until National Picnic Week ( 21- 30 June), so there’s plenty of time to practise. Try having one without getting a sore bum, having a passing spaniel Hsoover up the sandwiches, getting soaked, being stalked by a wasp, or, whoever was responsible for packing the food, forgetting to take whatever Ottolenghi salad you spent 37 hours assembling.
