Chelsea flower show focuses on health

G a r d e n s f o c u s i n g o n health, well-being and the p ower of nature, including an exhibit designed by the Duchess of Cambridge, feature at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show.

The Royal Hor ticultural Society’s world famous f l o w e r s h o w o p e n s i t s d o o r s a g a i n t h i s we e k , with around 168,000 visitors expected to tour the 28 gardens, the great pavilion and shopping stands over the week.

Exhibits include the RHS back-to-nature garden, codesigned by the duchess and landscape architects Davies White to highlight how being active in nature can positively affect peo - ple’s physical and mental health.

Other gardens focusing on nature and a more sust a i n a b l e f u t u r e i n c l u d e Sarah Eberle’s “resilience garden” which marks 100 years of the Forestry Commission.
