It strikes me that transpeople are in a similar position now as homosexuals were about 40 years ago. People talk as though they have made a lifestyle choice. They have not. They were born that way just as any woman or homosexual was born that way. The biological evidence supports this.

Englishandinscotland The importance of diet to brain function is being overlooked. The brain needs certain nutrients, chemicals, proteins and fats in the correct proportions. It appears that for a lot of teenagers this nutrient balance is lacking due to the modern diet, making them more susceptible to mental illness and emotional stress. Again it appears the focus is on managing the symptoms instead of curing the disease.
