VERTH William (Bill)

(Edinburgh) Sadly, after a very short illness, Bill, aged 89, passed away peacefully, at The Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, on Thursday, May 2, 2019. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Marjory for more than 60 years. Dearly loved dad to Marjory and Jacqueline, treasured grandad to Catherine and Cameron and much loved father-in-law to Adrian and Stephen. Past Master Builder, Past President of the Edinburgh Bowling Club, Swim Coach at Warrender Baths Club and Inverleith ASC. A funeral service will take place at Mortonhall Crematorium, Main Chapel, on Monday, May 27, at 11 am, to which all family and friends are respectfully welcome. Family flowers only please.
