Injured man may have been hit by a car

Police are investigating whether am an found injured in Moray may have been hit by a vehicle.

Them an–in his 20s– was discovered by a passing motorist in Reiket Lane in Elgin at about 8.20pm on Sunday. He had suffered a head injury and was taken to Dr G ray’ s Hos pital in Elgin for treatment, where his condition was described as serious but not life-threatening.

Police said they were keeping an open mind about the incident, and reviewing CCTV, with one theory being that he was involved in a collision with a vehicle.
