We can b e ex tr emely pr ou d of what we’ve achieved in our first season back in the big time.

Though it was the David Turnbull show on Saturday, the young midfielder netting twice and setting up one of Motherwell’s three goals, S cott Tiffoney’s intro duction made the trip worthwhile as he scored twice late on to give us hope. I’d like to see more of him next campaign.

Overall, the season is beyond anything I could have imagined. A lot of guys in this squad were in League 1 two years ago, but we’ve defied the odds and stayed well clear of trouble. With the loss of key players – club legends Declan Gallagher and Craig Halkett – we will find it hard to replace these boys, but I remain hopeful of survival again next season.
