House prices up 3.3% in a year
House prices in Scotland have risen by 3.3 per cent year-onyear, according to new figures.
The latest UK House Price Index shows the average property price in March 2019 was £149,461 - a 1.9 per cent rise on the previous month.
Midlothian and Per th and Kinross had the largest yearon-year increases, with prices rising by 12.2 per cent and 11.16 per cent respectively.
The largest decreases were in the North-east as prices dropped in both Aberdeen city (7 per cent) and Aberdeenshire (6.1 per cent).
