Cyclist dies after being hit by lorry

A cyclist has died after being hit by a lorry at a junction in Glasgow.

Emergency services rushed to the scene at around 9:15am yesterday after reports that a woman cyclist and a lorry collided on Nithsdale Drive at Pollokshaws Road, Southside, Glasgow.

The woman died at the scene but the lorry driver was not injured. Nithsdale Drive was closed to traffic to allow officers to carr y out their enquiries.
