Transforming TSB announces hires under new boss Crosbie
High-street lender TSB has announced two further leadership hires in the wake of the arrival of Debbie Crosbie in the chief executive seat.
Crosbie, who joined from Clydesdale Bank owner CYBG, has signed up Robin Bulloch who will be joining as customer banking director, responsible for “transforming” the TSB customer experience and leading its services across all channels – branch, mobile and online. It comes after a series of high-profile IT glitches affecting customers’ access to their accounts.
He joins from Lloyds Banking Group where he is MD of community banking at Lloyds Bank, and has recently led the same area at Bank of Scotland. Bulloch previously worked at Royal Bank of Scotland for two decades, leading Tesco Personal Finance between 2006 and 2008. The new hire will be joined at TSB by Suresh Viswanathan, who takes up the chief operating officer role and will drive the development of all systems, infrastructure and operations across TSB.
He joins after 11 years at Barclays, most recently leading op erations and technolog y for its UK ring-fenced bank. He previously spent nearly 20 years at Citi Group.
The duo will work alongside Liz Ashford, recently appointed TSB HR director.
Crosbie said they “will help to put a much clearer focus on our customers and on improving the TSB experience, as we accelerate our plans to transform and improve”.
