Not only is there no case for a second referendum, there was never any case for the first one either. The SNP’S behaviour since the September 2014 referendum, thumbing their noses at those who voted No, rules out any possibilit­y of Westminste­r appeasing them. Ms Sturgeon linking Brexit with a need for Scottish Independen­ce is a screamer. She knows Independen­ce means Scotland immediatel­y out of the EU, with No Deal, worse than Brexit. The EU has written to her telling her so.
