At this moment they are trying hard to get people to use bikes and it’s free. Once we all get hooked on them, push bike tax, riding licence, restrictio­ns etc will come into force. I fully support their actions and more needs to be done. Scotland generates 40 per cent of its energy needs from renewable resources. Let’s demand it’s 100 per cent.

Definitely makes me consider driving to be able to avoid the chaos by going the long way round rather than get the bus/walk as I was prevented walking on my direct route. Irony.
