Grant returns north to sign for Morton

Morton have brought former Falkirk defender Peter Grant back to Scottish football after a year in England. The 25-year-old, son of former Celtic midfielder Peter Grant, started his career at Peterborough United and had loan spells at Thurrock and Histon before joining the Bairns for a four-year stint in 2014.

He moved to Plymouth Argyle last summer, but after an unsuccessful period there he moved on to Carlisle before being released in the summer.
