● Continue to fund and support Mobility Centres to provide driving advice to the elderly and disabled motorists

● Commission research to understand the extent to which driver vision issues pose a road safety risk

● DVLA to add older drivers as a permanent item to the appropriat­e Secretary of State’s Medical Advisory Panel

● Assess the recommenda­tions from the Older Drivers Task Force

● Funding ROSPA to deliver older driver support for a dedicated website and informatio­n in doctors’ surgeries

● Funding Road Safety GB to will develop an Approved Driving Instructor training course that is specific to the needs of older drivers

● Funding BRAKE to develop a new community of champions with road safety and sustainabl­e mobility concerns and interests

● Funding to Roadsafe to deliver a digital platform which shares a best practice review of road safety risks for older road users

● Explore opportunit­ies to support the Healthy Ageing Grand Challenge including developing a research programme with the DFT Chief Scientific Adviser
