Nut job: Super-squirrel springs into action in quest for autumn food
A red squirrel leaps from a tree in a Superman-like pose in woodland near Inverness. Images of the endangered species were captured by amateur photographer Gary Bruce, a wildlife enthusiast who has been visiting the red squirrels at least five times a week for the last four years to feed them. They have become extinct in some parts of the country as their natural habitats have become broken up.
