Border guards

-

It would appear that in the media all references to solving the Irish border question only consider the technical aspects of trade and customs.

I am certain that technology can look after these issues but the main reason for voting Leave, in my opinion, was the recovery of our border security, so that we know who is entering the UK and who is leaving. Like it or not – and I genuinely sympathise with those who do not – the indisputable fact is that we must have guards on the Irish border to try to avoid terrorists and other undesirables sneaking into the UK.

The only other solution is the well voiced option of a border in the Irish Sea – with all that entails.
