Recruiters come under pressure

Recruiters Pagegroup and Robert Walters saw their shares come under pressure after laying bare the impact of Brexit and global political uncertainty on the jobs market.

Pagegroup warned over annual earnings as profit growth slowed amid “heightened political and macro-economic challenges”. Robert Walters cautioned that annual pretax profits are expected to flatline.
