Children should not be scared to use the loo. I understand the need to encourage diversity but having only one set of toilets for all is not on. As an adult it is really weird and awkward when I use the unisex toilets. I can only imagine what it’s like if you are a child.

The new James Gillespie’s High School in Edinburgh has gender neutral toilets and there is no problem. It is the way forward. Most universities and some bars and restaurants have gender neutral toilets too. If younger children get used to it at an early age, it isn’t a big deal when they’re out and about when they’re older. Times are changing for things to be inclusive – about time too. Let’s embrace it.

Paul Sloan Glasgow City Council has revealed a £16.5 million plan to refurbish a disused primary school to further expand Gaelic education in the city.
I hope it is an unqualified success. Glad to see there is a growing demand for Gaelic in Glasgow. It is such a beautiful language.

I’m no SNP supporter, but the original Glasgow Gaelic school started in 2006, long before the SNP were in power, and is council-run with more than 600 pupils.

Whatever the use, I’m just glad a beautiful old building will be restored and given a new lease of life! Too many are being allowed to fall into such disrepair and then demolished to be replaced by a vanity project that does not fit in with the surrounding area.
