Earthquakes leave Glen Coe locals shaken
Two earthquakes have been felt by locals in Glen Coe, Scottish Highlands.
People living in Ballachulish said they could also hear a deep rumbling sound, it was reported.
The British Geological Survey detected a magnitude 1.9 earthquake at 5:40pm on Wednesday and a magnitude 1.7 quake six minutes later.
Small earthquakes have previously been recorded in Fort William and Jura, linked to seismic activity along the Great Glen Fault, a zone of fractures in two blocks of rock that are moving slowly in opposite directions.
