Glasgow School of Art show examines the language of gestures
Artist Claire Paterson stands in front of her work Lemurian Pole Shift – Becoming Part 3 ahead of the opening of The Arbitrary Trial, a show of her work at the Glasgow School of Art. A series of brightly coloured works ranging in size from 1m square to small scale pieces, the paintings explore ideas related to the theatrical language embedded in totems and gestures. The exhibition runs until December 20.
