Exporters report worsening sales

Most manufacturing exporters are reporting a “stark worsening” in sales and orders, according to a new study.

Indicators of how busy exporters are show a “substantial” drop compared to 2018 levels, the British Chambers of Commerce and DHL said. It suggests the balance of exporting manufacturers reporting an increase in orders has fallen in recent months.
