Office offers self-serve alcohol

Self-serve alcohol is being introduced for workers at an Edinburgh office.

Wristbands will be required to operate the self-service pumps and a four-drink daily limit will be enforced. Staff at the Wework Community Workspace on George Street will be supervised by a trained colleague when helping themselves to alcohol, in a communal area with a roof terrace.

The city’s licensing board granted permission for the move after a visit to the offices.
