Inquest into air crash deaths
The deaths of three British citizens aboard an Ethiopian Airlines flight which crashed will be investigated at an inquest next year.
Samuel Pegram, 25, Joanna Toole, 36, and Oliver Vick, 45, died on March 10, 2019 when the Boeing 737 Max 8 plane they were travelling on crashed shortly after take-off.
A total of 157 passengers and crew members were killed when the airliner came down at Tulu Fara Village near Bishoftu, Ethiopia.
A coroner was told that the bodies of Mr Pegram, Ms Toole and Mr Vick had all now been repatriated to the UK.
Senior coroner Penelope Schofield adjourned the inquest until August 11, 2020, saying “we are still awaiting the final reports in respect of the crash.”
