Santas and trees stolen from garden centre

An investigation has been launched after the theft of artificial Christmas trees and decorations from a garden centre in West Lothian.

The items, worth a fivefigure sum, were stolen from Dobbies Garden Centre in Broxburn between 6pm on Friday and 8am on Saturday.

Light-up Santa figures were among the items stolen from the site on Dechmont roundabout.

Police are appealing for information about the theft and have urged anyone who was in the area on Friday night or Saturday morning to get in touch.
