The BBC has released a trailer for a Gavin & Stacey Christmas Day Special nearly a decade after the beloved sitcom aired its final episode, a New Year’s Day special in 2010.
@elliemalim tweeted: “Could cry at the clips for the #Gavinandstacey Christmas Special clips, feel like I’m being reunited with pals I’ve not seen in years. I’m just so emotional it’s been too long x.”
@safahahahah agreed: “OMG the Gavin and Stacey episode looks amazing. I cannot wait.”
@Shrewsgav added: “This is going to be the highlight of Christmas TV by a country mile.”
But @Aaron_bumby grumbled: “Pretty sure I’m the only person alive who has never seen Gavin & Stacey.”
An excited @chloexoxo97 commented: “The advert for the new Christmas special of Gavin and Stacey has got me SO excited!!! I cannot wait, it looks amazing!!!”
@liv_rinehart added: “I’m more excited for the #gavinandstacey Christmas special than actual Christmas.” However, @deianrhysjones chipped in: “If all the sneaky underhand tactics and
Conservative-favouring propaganda isn’t enough of a reason to cancel your TV licence, then the Gavin and Stacey Christmas Special should do it.”
#BORISJOHNSON
Prime Minister Boris Johnson faced intensive questioning by the BBC’S Andrew Marr on the Andrew Marr Show yesterday morning.
@nooouch felt that: “What I didn’t like today was Johnson chuntering and pretending to have empathy for the London victims and then spending the rest of the show semismirking at the camera. Unedifying. Unerving . Who would trust such an obvious fraud?”
@hurtycu tweeted: “The Conservatives allowed a terrorist to roam the streets of London. Boris Johnson and his party should not be in power.”
@paulmasonnews noted: “Johnson’s reaction to forensic questioning is usually buffoonery – when it doesn’t work, as with Marr, he resorts to aggression.”
@michael_chessum summed up: “Boris Johnson’s interview on Marr is utterly extraordinary. It’s not really an interview – it’s an irritable monologue.”
