What’s the last piece of clothing you bought?

A dress from a brand called A-line. It’s ankle-length with amazing sleeves and button details on the back – elegant and comfortable.

What are you addicted to buying?

I’m less interested in trends and veer towards anything that’s simple in design, comfortable and sophisticated.

Best ever bargain?

A Dries Van Noten shirt dress I got on ebay. It’s a pink and grey net piece with a layered skirt. You can wear it over jumpsuits or dresses. Dries Van Noten’s talent for mixing fabrics, prints and silhouettes inspires feverish passion amongst those who wear his clothes.

Who has great style?

Audrey Hepburn and Alexa Chung.

COS for its urban casual chic looks. You can build an incredible base wardrobe with all their essentials.

Any fashion disasters you’d care to tell us about?

When I buy pieces I love to look at but they don’t suit me. I had a silver Matthew Williamson top that was beautiful but was meant to be worn by a six-foot Amazonian. I’m a petite 5ft 2in, so it looked like a badly fitted dress. One expensive mistake was a pair of Christian Louboutins. I bought them in a sale but they were a size too small and cut the circulation from my toes. I thought I could deal with the pain, how wrong.

What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?

The green silk robe from my own lingerie line. It’s luxurious yet easy to wear and silk on your skin feels gorgeous. It’s not available just yet but can be preordered from our website in time for March. n
