Temple prayers: Thailand records its first human-to-human coronaviru­s

Health officials said that of the six new cases, all Chinese visitors from Wuhan, five belonged to the same family. The ages of family members affected range from six to 70.

Thai officials said they had recorded their first humanto-human transmissi­on of the coronaviru­s after a taxi driver was apparently infected by a traveller, heightenin­g concern over the virus’s potential to spread worldwide. The driver was among five new patients confirmed bringing the country’s cases to 19.
