Digitonic’s on a charge as leadership bolstered

- By SCOTT REID

Glasgow-based smart mobile marketing agency Digitonic has bolstered its senior team as it embarks on an ambitious expansion plan.

The firm has appointed Raymond Mcgovern to the newly-created role of operations director. He is tasked with developing a “high-level operations strategy” for the business as it looks to build on a successful year.

New customer acquisition in the US and Canada and “substantial expansion” within the financial services sector are on the cards. The business is also capitalising on the potential of emerging, high-growth global markets such as India.

Digitonic has boosted its workforce in 2019, growing from 16 to 26 team members based in its Glasgow HQ, alongside new offices in London, New York and India.

Boss Grant Fraser said: “Raymond is an exceptionally strong communicator. His experience of working and living in North America for a decade will be of great benefit.”
