Freshen up

This mask does what it says on the tin (well, tube). Squeeze the clear gel out and slap on, and the combination of aloe vera, caffeine, vitamin C and other radiance-promoting ingredients, will quickly perk you up. It’s from a new brand Faace, who also offer a Period Faace mask for hormonal skin and Sweaty Faace for post workout (also £19.50 each). Also, with every unit sold, they’ll donate a sanitary product via the Hey Girls charity to the 1 in 10 women or girls who experience period poverty in the UK.

In the pink

Available from Spacenk and Cult Beauty, this new exfoliating facial will make short work of dead skin cells. The pink iridescent packaging is rather jewellike and swanky, and the product itself –- a clear rose-scented gel – contains 20 per cent fruit based AHAS and 5 per cent BHA, extracted from willow bark. Expect a slight tingle on application, which quickly fades, and leave for 20 minutes (or less) before rinsing off. Voila, you’re a real glow getter. Night time regime

Released on 2 March as part of this brand’s Skin Care+ range, this potent product is designed for mature, dehydrated and dull skin. Unlike most overnight masks, we like that the white and richly-scented gel-cream dries on, so you’re not slipping about your pillows like a slug in a flume. Ingredients including frankincense, sodium ascorbyl phosphate, saccharide isomerate, and vitamins B, C, E and F, to ensure that you wake up with replenished and peachy feeling skin. Sublime Replenishing Night Masque, £93, Aesop, www.aesop.com
