Man murdered on way to night shift

A father was stabbed to death on his way to work a night shift 15 minutes after leaving his newborn baby at home.

A murder investigation has been launched after the 24-year-old man was found with stab injuries inside a VW Polo in north-west London on Saturday night.

Police were called to the scene after reports that the vehicle had crashed into a parked car.

Detectives believe the victim, from Edgware, was attacked in a nearby car park minutes before the collision.
