Pedestrian dies after being hit by car in early hours

A pedestrian has died after he was hit by a car in the early hours of the morning.

The 59-year-old man was on the A915 Largo road in Leven, Fife, when he was struck by the vehicle at around 2:20am yesterday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. The 22-yearold man driving the car was not injured.

Police said: “Officers are keen to hear from any witnesses to the crash or any motorists in the area at the time with dashcam footage.

“Locals are also being asked to check house CCTV footage for anything that could help.”
