Sons sting Raith again but Falkirk also stumble

-

Bully Wee ahead after three minutes and David Goodwillie made it 2-0 from the spot after being fouled by Bairns goalkeeper Robbie Mutch.

Falkirk replied right on half-time when Charlie Telfer converted from the spot, but Goodwillie restored Clyde’s two-goal cushion on 53 minutes.

Despite Louis Longridge pulling a goal back in injury time, Clyde held out for a third win of the season over their visitors.

Airdrie failed to take any advantage of the top two losing as they went down 1-0 at Montrose. The Gable Endies’ goal came midway through the first half when visiting keeper Scott Gallacher fumbled a cross and pulled down Cammy Ballantyne as he tried to retrieve it. Graham Webster drilled in the resulting penalty.

East Fife drew level on points with the Diamonds thanks to a 1-0 win at

Forfar where Danny Denholm grabbed the winner in the opening minute.

The game between bottom side Stranraer and

Peterhead at Stair Park was postponed.
