What’s the last piece of clothing you bought?
A pair of army green boots and an off-white T-shirt from Zara.
What are you addicted to buying?
I’m pretty stingy, so I spend ONLY when I feel I really need something, but I love new jackets.
Best ever bargain?
I was in a thrift store in West Hollywood and picked up a vintage Scotch & Soda leather jacket from around 1988. It would be $600plus new, but I got it for $80.
Who has great style?
Chadwick Boseman always looks fresh, Idris Elba is a boss, Henry Golding and Odell Beckham Jr. Shout out to JLO, Riri and Zendaya for the ladies.
Name your favourite high street shop.
No matter where I am in the world, I hit Zara and Louis Vuitton. I’m a sucker for well-priced clothes and over-priced bags/wallets.
Any fashion disasters you’d care to tell us about?
My first time in London, my boys were taking me out.
So I put on a collared shirt, waistcoat, jeans with dress shoes. I was standing in line to go into the club and here comes Mister Fancy with the two pretty ladies and he tosses me his ticket thinking I was the valet. No smoke to the valets of the world, but I got rid of the waistcoat that night. Ugh.
What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?
The very first piece of Callica clothing I made. It’s this cream coloured, single breasted sweater that is one of one and I love it. Makes me proud. ■
