Yesterday saw shopping centres reopen, visitors allowed back to hospitals and children’s contact sports restart as Scotland continues to ease the lockdown restrictio­ns as Nicola Sturgeon confirms there have been no deaths from Covid-19 for a fifth day.

I have it nailed. I will ignore every trained university graduate, every epidemiolo­gist and every public health expert and instead listen to every leftwing journalist whose only job is to rubbish the very suggestion on how we can best this. That should do it.

I’ve been told I can go for a hygienist appointmen­t (hand scale) soon but although my Denplan covers my treatment it doesn’t cover PPE, which is £7 extra.

There is also a £5 PPE charge at the hairdresse­rs for disposable capes and towels and masks if you need one, think that is standard wherever you go.
