St Mirren manager Jim Goodwin feels he has leaders across his back four after signing former Ross County skipper Marcus Fraser who has signed a one-year deal after rejecting a new contract offer from County.

“Marcus fits perfectly with the profile of players that we have brought to the club,” said Goodwin. “He’s another one with great experienceandplayedover 140 games in the Premiership with Ross County over the last few years.

“He’s a leader and I feel I have leaders across the whole back four just now.”

Fraser, who could make his debut in Saturday’s Scottish Premiership opener against Livingston in Paisley, said: “The last few months have been really strange but I’m looking forward to Saturday and I’ll be ready to go if I’m called upon.”

“I know they’ve just come upfromthechampionship so, hopefully, I’ll be able to help them push for a high place in the Premiership.”

Kilmarnock have completed the signing of goalkeeper Danny Rogers following a successful trial spell. The 26-year-old has played in three pre-season friendlies and could make his competitive debut against Hibernian at Easter Road on Saturday.
