Schools in Scotland will reopen in full in August, the First Minister has announced. But with pupils having been away from school for almost five months, she said that some councils may adopt a phased approach to the return.

So my children can return to school but I can’t go to work in case one of the dogs I work with infects a person? Is this for real?

She announced that they were returning to school but I did not hear her commit to how the children were to be kept safe. How can distancing work, what about toilets? They are not to take a school bag but they are having to take a packed lunch. She does not seem to be convinced about the need for testing of teachers or children.
