Almost 2500 people have signed a petition against parking restrictions on high streets across Edinburgh, claiming businesses risk being ruined.

It is going to be the end of the small shops; traffic wardens are telling delivery drivers that they cannot stop.

No-one actually walks in the extra bit of road provided. And what’s the point anyway, when there’s some bits that don’t have cones so you have to go back on to the pavement? Also why are the crossings hands free until 9am? What happens after 9am? Can you not catch Covid after 9am? Or are you expected to cross without using green man?
