Scots firms can access mental health offering

Firms in Scotland will be able to access a “ground-breaking” online tool for assessing employee mental fitness thanks to a Linlithgow-based mental health consultancy.

Mind & Mission has secured exclusive rights to the offering – developed by mental fitness specialist Cognomie – which can provide in-depth insight into the “mind” of an organisation. Cognomie says 93 per cent of employees report after using the tech that they feel more able to achieve professional goals; there is a 64 per cent increase in engagement and 60 per cent boost in work performance.

Kirsty Ritchie, co-founder and director at Mind & Mission, said: “Never has it been more vital for owners and leaders to understand the mind of their business, and the mental health status of their teams… we need to understand if employees are mentally fit to perform at their best.”

The consultancy said it will leverage the tool to help firms and staff perform at their best.
