Organic spirits firm appoints brand development manager
● Eight Lands, the organic spirits brand from Speyside, has made a further addition to its expanding team, with Josh Rosenbaum joining as brand development manager. Josh is responsible for building lasting relationships with onand off-trade partners and growing the brand nationally and in key export markets. He joins the growing team from Amathus Drinks, where he led a team, as well as looked after national group accounts and London on-trade accounts. Prior to that, Josh spent a number of years working in the hospitality and drinks sector in the UK and around the US, including Boston and Las Vegas, as well as a period of time in Dublin.
● Commercial law firm Davidson Chalmers Stewart has bolstered its environment, waste and renewables team with the appointment of
two senior lawyers. Steven Mcallister has joined the team as an associate from the world’s largest independent renewable energy company, Renewable Energy Systems (RES). He brings a wealth of commercial experience and is now acting for the team’s expanding renewable energy practice dealing with developers, landowners and investors across the sector. Chala Mckenna has also joined the team as a senior solicitor. Having worked for six years as inhouse solicitor at Sepa, she brings significant environmental experience from a regulatory perspective. She will support the firm’s already well-developed private and public sector client base on all environmental issues including regulation, enforcement compliance and waste management policy.
● Construction Scotland Innovation Centre (CSIC) has appointed development expert John Maclennan as its innovation manager to drive collaborative innovation projects in the Highlands, Islands
and North-east regions. John joins the CSIC team from Scottish Enterprise, bringing a wealth of experience of designing and developing business growth programmes, including the recent SCALE Summer School Business Programme, benefitting over 300 Scottish companies. He also brings with him a strong understanding of the funding landscape and economic development opportunities. Prior to joining Scottish Enterprise, where he led a multi-disciplinary team to deliver the Aberdeen Science Parks joint venture, John worked with Highlands and Islands Enterprise as a business development manager supporting companies in Moray.
