#FIFE

Some Twitter users were convinced Prime Minister Boris Johnson is not camping, as claimed, here in Scotland, but is on the super yacht linked to billionaire Roman Abramovich.

@Myarsse tweeted: “This is where Boris is far more likely to be. The Le Grand Bleu. It is one of the biggest yachts in the world. It is owned by a Russian oligarch. It is currently moored off Fife. Boris is on holiday in Fife and is very friendly with Russian oligarchs.”

@respectisvital posted: “Fife is a lovely place to holiday. Mind you, it’s probably even better when there’s a super yacht moored off the coast with a rich oligarch onboard...”

@Tedurchin posted an images of the craft and said: “Pound to a pinch of **** , he’s on this, The Grand Bleu, a super-yacht that belongs to Roman Abramovich’s business partner, Eugene Shvidler, that just happens to be moored off Fife right now.”

@kastop58 said: “My money’s on that Russian ship in Fife Harbour. Come on Fifers, get down there and get the photo. Could be worth a few pounds.”

@Millarcaroline said: “I don’t know what all the fuss is about. I’ve been on Fife coast for the last few days. It’s been quite wet. And evidence of landslides everywhere. A badly pitched tent near the edge of the sea seems like an excellent idea to me.”

#DRIVINGTEST

Learner drivers can once again take their test in England and Wales. The demand led to a lot of waiting and frustration.

@Theunguarded wrote: “How about we go off instructors’ predicted grades.”

@Felicit wrote: “Think we should get the test half price for the amount of time we’ve waited.”

@Ellgibbson wrote: “They’ve probably found out all our addresses and are only giving upper class kids the chance. Anyone else texting their driving instructor for emotional support?”

@Wriggy noted: “You can’t fail your driving test if you can’t get it booked.”

@Georgia tweeted: “Absolute **** take. Been here since 7:45 and I’m so close to launching my computer at Boris himself.”

@Miafanart said: “I hope I don’t crash as much as this website is when I do my test.”

@Locana gave up: “I’m just gonna get a scooter.”
