Woman caught in 100mph speeding

A woman has been caught speeding more than 100mph on a busy road in East Lothian.

The 22- year-old was seen driving at 101mph on the A1 near Gladsmuir on Saturday.

Officers stopped her and reported the driver to the procurator fiscal.

On the same day, a 24- yearold man was also caught speeding at 94 mph on the same road.

He was stopped by police and issued with a fixed penalty fine.

A police spokesman confirmed the penalties.
