New homes for North Ayrshire
A social housing contract has been agreed to build 79 new homes inKil winning on behalf of Nor th Ayrshire Council.
The fourth off our new projects, currently being developed in partnership with the council, has been agreed with Hub South West, the public-private partnership.
Both parties have now signed- off on a £12.4 million social housing contract with
Graham Construction to build the new St Michael’s Wynd community of 79 homes. The development is expected to generate additional economic activity in the area.
Michael MCB rear ty, chief executive of Hub South West, said: “This project will bring much-needed, high-quality accommodation to the peo - ple of Kilwinning and North Ayrshire and we trust the end result will represent a development of which we will all be proud.”
Craig Bridges, Graham Construct ion’ sstrategicbu siness director, added: “We are pleased to be working once again with the team at Hub South West on behalf of North Ayrshire Council and are looking for ward to getting work under way later this year.
“As ever, our aim is to deliver this project on time, on budget and to the high standards specified in the contract.”
Work is scheduled to get underway on the development over the autumn/winter period and is expected to be complete by spring 2022.
