The early challenges keep coming as the race ventures into the Alps on only the fourth day, reaching a summit finish at the ski resort of Orcieres-merlette, some 1,825 metres above sea level. It will be a key early marker in the battle for the yellow jersey and will Julian Alaphillipe be able to defend it?
