- By CRAIG FOWLER

Brian Laudrup has revealed he is finally cancer-free after battling follicular lymphoma for ten years.

The Rangers legend shared the news on Instagram as he posted a smiling photo of himself with two medical practitioners. “Today, after 10 years of treatment and check ups, I finally got the all clear for my Follicular Lymphoma Cancer diagnosis!” he wrote. “A huge thank you to this amazing and wonderful medical staff at Rigshospitalet.”

The Dane revealed in 2016 how pioneering immunotherapy was helping him win the battle against the blood disease. The treatment involved implanting genetically modified cancer-killing white blood cells into his body.

The 51-year- old played for four years at Ibrox and was one of the most beloved players in the club’s history. He won five trophies including three league titles, before leaving for Chelsea in 1998.
